All PhD students are required to perform a plagiarism check, starting from September 1, 2022. As a result, PhD students will gain access to iThenticate, a tool that enables them to check their research for plagiarism. This tool can be used once a year and is an integral part of the Doctorate Regulations, which emphasize the importance of scientific integrity. iThenticate helps contribute to an increased awareness of scientific integrity in line with the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Scientific Integrity (NGWI).
