Introduction

The LibGuide Information Skills Intermediate explains how to do literature research. Literature research involves a systematic search for scientific literature and other sources of information to answer a research question. Scientific literature databases such as LibSearch, Web of Science, Scopus and also Google Scholar are explained using screen shots and instructional videos.

Some resources and databases mentioned in this course have restricted access. Use Lean Library to access them more easily.

This LibGuide is a follow-up to Research Skills Basics where you were introduced to scholarly information resources.

Good luck!
