ECLAS European Commission Libraries CatalogueAn online bibliographic database of items held by European Commission Libraries hosted on the EU's official Europa server. ECLAS is effectively a union catalogue referencing holdings of a network of libraries, called Rseaubib. The libraries include the Central Library and 20 smaller specialised libraries and documentation centres. ECLAS consists of over 240,000 completed catalogue records relating to European affairs with over 7,000 new additions annually. The service covers the Union's official publications and documents of intergovernmental organisations, commercial, academic and government reports, and selected periodical articles. ECLAS provides bibliographical references for publications only. Document delivery is not provided. Each bibliographic record features a hyperlink to electronic documents . The ECLAS catalogue contains references to a growing number of full text online resources (over 12,000) that may be searched independently. Some documents are only available in electronic form.The service is currently freely available and is presented in either English or French language versions.
