This is a collection of freely accessible datasets recommended by faculty members from the School of Business and Economics (SBE). It covers the subject areas of Finance, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

Please note: These datasets are not licensed, funded or supported by the university library. Some are fully open-access and free to use, while others follow a freemium model—offering limited access without a subscription or personal account.

These sources provide a wide range of datasets suitable for research, thesis writing, exploration, inspiration or prototyping. They vary in scope, from broad and comprehensive to highly specialized, and supplement the institutional data sources provided by SBE VU.
