Finding data

The Data Support team can help you to find and use data for your research paper. We offer support for proprietary databases that the VU Amsterdam subscribes to, but we can also help with other resources. You can reach the help desk by email and by phone: (+31)(20) 59 85166.

The physical Data Support Desk is located at: HG 6B-02:

• From January to February 19th: Wednesdays 13:00 - 16:00
• No Walk-in helpdesk on Wednesday February 26th!
• From April to June: Tuesdays and Thursdays 13:00 - 16:00

It is also possible to make an appointment if you wish one-on-one advise and help, but this depends on personal schedules.

When you contact us by phone or email we will try to set up a video meeting, or schedule an appointment. You can also try using the option Book a librarian. This Booking option is available in all months except April to June.
